Today, as a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Mawaldi is changing lives by going beyond straightening teeth. He’s proudly serving Midlothian patients with unmatched experience and highly personalized care. Taking a facial-driven approach, his goal is to bring a deeper sense of happiness, fulfillment, and confidence in each patient’s appearance.

Dr. Mawaldi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and began his career as a general dentist. He became deeply passionate about the cosmetic facet of his practice and worked as a consultant for Ivoclar Vivadent, a renowned international company for cosmetic dentistry. He achieved his Certificate of Cranio Dental Maxillofacial Orthopedics at the France University of Bourgogne, where he gained extensive knowledge in facial aesthetics, facial harmony, and facial components. Harnessing an array of advanced clinical methods, he received his Certificate in Orthodontics at the State University of New York in Buffalo, where he also taught as a clinical professor for 10 years.
