A Step Above Renowned with his care at multiple centers around the country, Jeff Bonnaud has been providing cosmetic and medical dermatological care since 2014, with board-certification as a Physician Assistant (PA). Being a thought leader and educator in the field of dermatology, Jeff Bonnaud’s meticulous approach and outstanding patient care has earned him a 2020 & 2021 Top PA and 2020 World Leader in Healthcare by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals. Jeff believes that it is important to prevent and treat underlying skin damage, focus on underlying health conditions, and provide a comprehensive approach to all layers of the skin and degrees of aging with a combination of skincare, peels, facials, injectables, energy based devices like lasers, and even surgery if needed. A Prestigious Background Following his undergraduate degree at UCLA, PA Bonnaud continued his post-baccalaureate studies at Harvard University, where he began his path and goal to return back to Los Angeles to work in Dermatology. He then worked in Pediatric Cardiology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA prior to beginning his Master’s degree at Quinnipiac University’s prestigious PA Program in Hamden, CT. During his PA studies, Jeff was recognized as a merit scholar, a national scholar, and a fellow of the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) for his commitment and raising awareness of sexual health and research. His commitment to the LGBTQ community was further shaped by his training at Fenway Health focusing on STI/HIV treatments and transgender health. Upon graduation, PA Bonnaud began his career in adult outpatient Internal Medicine with Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA where this invaluable experience provided a deeper understanding for underlying and complex conditions seen within dermatology. Additionally, PA Bonnaud became one of the first prescribers of PrEP and continues to hold a strong focus on sexual health and well-being. For the past four and a half years, PA Bonnaud has worked in Cosmetic & Medical Dermatology in a seaside town just north of Boston earning a loyal patient following and reputation within the medical community. PA Bonnaud is a national thought leader and educator within dermatology regarding biologic and treatment therapies with a high emphasis on autoimmune inflammatory conditions like Psoriasis and Eczema. Additionally, he currently sits on multiple pharmaceutical advisory boards to help shape further advances in treatments. Jeff Bonnaud further shares his knowledge and unique perceptive writing articles for renowned dermatology magazines. PA Bonnaud currently sits on the multiple committees for the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), is part of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF), and the National Eczema Association (NEA). Jeff has worked in private practice for many years performing both medical and cosmetic services. Medical services include full skin exams, management of abnormal moles, prevention and treatment of sun damage, skin cancer, acne, rosacea, melasma, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss, hidradenitis suppurativa, warts, STIs, and management of other benign and autoimmune conditions. Cosmetic services include laser therapies for antiaging, wrinkles, pores, redness/rosacea, acne and melasma/pigmentation. Additionally, his extensive cosmetic training makes him an expert in neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) for movement lines, and dermal filler injections for facial contouring (Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Belotero) contouring.
