Dr. Pouya Momtaz practices Orthodontics in LAS VEGAS, NV. Growing up in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Momtaz was inspired to pursue a career in orthodontics. As the middle child in a family of 3, he developed a strong desire to help others and build meaningful connections. His admiration for his father, a fellow healthcare practitioner, further fueled his aspiration to enter the field. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Boston University before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Tufts University.
To hone his skills, he completed a one-year general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. He then completed a fellowship in orthodontics, followed by a residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It was during his time in residency that he fell in love with the vibrant Las Vegas community and decided to establish his practice in the area.
“Every day, I have the privilege of witnessing the incredible transformations of my patients’ smiles, and I believe that a great smile can change a life. It’s not just about straightening teeth; it’s about boosting confidence and helping people feel their best,” said Dr. Momtaz.
Outside of the office, Dr. Momtaz enjoys spending time with family and friends, grilling outdoors, playing basketball, and working on his beloved Jeep. His enthusiasm for life and connection with the community extends beyond his practice, making him a cherished member of the Las Vegas area.
