A native of India, Dr. Jani earned his medical degree from the NHL Municipal Medical College in 2009. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in pediatrics at the Bronx Lebanon Medical Center in 2014, and his fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Michigan State University in 2017.
Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in neonatal-perinatal medicine and pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Among his other roles, he can be found on staff at DMC Hutzel Women’s Hospital, and DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital.
Neonatology is a subspecialty of pediatrics that consists of the medical care of newborn infants, especially ill or premature newborns.
