Get to know Pediatric Pulmonologist Dr. Biswas Joshi, who serves patients in San Bernardino and Loma Linda, California.

Fluent in both English and Hindi, Dr. Joshi is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist who can be found on staff at Linda University Pediatric Subspecialty Clinics – Immunology in San Bernardino, California, as well as Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Loma Linda, California.

After earning his medical degree from Nepal Medical College, Dr. Joshi relocated to the United States to complete his internship at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City, New York. He then went on to complete his residency in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center, followed by his fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. 

In addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), the doctor is board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The ABP exists to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents. Certification represents dedication by pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists, and pediatric trainees to the highest level of professionalism in patient care.

Pulmonology is a medical specialty that deals with diseases involving the respiratory tract. A pediatric pulmonologist diagnosises, treats, and manages children from birth to 21 years old with breathing and lung diseases. They practice in places like children’s hospitals, university medical centers, and community hospitals.
