A committed sports medicine and primary care provider, Dr. Medellin is setting the standard for healthcare in the Jackson community. Currently, he is dedicated to providing top-notch care to his patients at the Henry Ford Medical Center in Jackson, Michigan.

Pertaining to his educational pursuits, he completed his medical education at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences and went on to pursue residencies and internships in family medicine and surgery at prestigious institutions such as LaGrange Memorial Hospital and Wayne State University. He further honed his skills through a fellowship in sports medicine at WellSpan York Hospital. 

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is double board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in both family medicine and sports medicine. He offers a range of advanced sports medicine treatments, including PRP injections, Tenex technology, MSK US, ultrasound-guided injections, and concussion care. His expertise in these areas ensures that patients receive the best possible care for their sports-related injuries and conditions.

Among his other roles, Dr. Medellin serves as the Head Team Physician for Albion College, Jackson College, and Spring Arbor University. Additionally, he holds the position of Team Physician at the USA Weightlifting Sports Medicine Society, providing medical support to athletes in Olympic Weightlifting competitions worldwide.

A compassionate provider, he actively engages with the community by supporting local high school and collegiate athletes. He collaborates with the Dahlem Environmental Center to promote family health through the Nature for All Trail initiative, and is committed to enhancing the well-being of his neighbors through education and outreach programs.
