A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is in practice with Women Partners In OB/GYN in San Antonio, Texas, which she joined in 2003.

She then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 2003.
