Bringing a Blend of Expertise and Passion to Dermatology
Lilly is a seasoned physician assistant (PA)with the esteemed team at Bryn Mawr Dermatology. Led by Board Certified Dermatologist, Christine Stanko, MD, FAAD, Bryn Mawr Dermatology incorporates a patient-focused outlook in every decision since they first opened their doors on the Main Line in 2005.
A Pennsylvania native, Lilly’s journey through academia and hands-on experience has led her back to her roots, where she makes a significant impact in the field of dermatology.
Having graduated from the PA program at Drexel University in 2012, she honed her skills for 7 years at the Penn Emergency Department, where she successfully performed numerous procedures and treated a wide array of skin disorders.
Known for her meticulous approach to laceration repair, Lilly earned the affectionate moniker of the “lac queen” among her colleagues. Not only dedicated to her own growth, she also established an internship program for PA students at the Penn ED, showcasing her commitment to nurturing future healthcare professionals.
A devoted member of various prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, she is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her thirst for knowledge continues to lead her to frequent continuing education seminars; she regularly attends ‘Philly Derm’ organized by renowned dermatological experts. She also stays abreast of the nuances of cosmetic dermatology, ensuring her techniques result in the best patient outcomes.
Reflecting on her journey, Lilly shared, “My fascination with dermatology blossomed during my time as a medical assistant in a respected dermatology practice. The intricate balance of medical expertise and artistry required in dermatological care captivated me. I realized that dermatology was not just about treating the physical; it encompassed the aesthetic and emotional aspects too.”
When she’s not enhancing patients’ lives, Lilly finds solace in exploring new cultures and savoring diverse cuisines with her family. Married to a native Albanian restaurateur, Lilly, alongside her two daughters, embodies a harmonious blend of professional dedication and personal fulfillment.
