Dr. Morenikeji Buraimoh is an experienced and caring orthopedic surgeon currently practicing at Bristol Health. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in treating a wide range of orthopedic and spine conditions.

Dr. Buraimoh offers personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Care begins with a comprehensive evaluation. Treatments include a range of conservative treatments including medication, physical therapy, and injections, as well as surgery. He prioritizes non-invasive approaches whenever possible. Dr. Buraimoh graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology in 2008. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Medicine from Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in 2012. His passion for orthopedic surgery led him to complete a rigorous residency program at the renowned Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit from 2012 to 2017. Subsequently, he pursued further specialization in spine surgery through a fellowship at The University of Maryland Medical Center, a leading center for trauma and complex spinal surgery, from 2017 to 2018.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Buraimoh is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). The ABOS is an organization with the goal of establishing educational and professional standards for orthopedic residents and surgeons as well as evaluating the qualifications and competence of orthopedic surgeons.

Committed to staying at the forefront of his field, Dr. Buraimoh is an active member of several prestigious medical organizations, including the Connecticut Orthopedic Society, the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Hartford County Medical Association. His dedication to ongoing education and professional development ensures that his patients receive the highest standard of care.

Recognized for his contributions to the field of spine surgery, Dr. Buraimoh was named one of the “Spine Surgeons to Know in 2020” by Becker Spine. His dedication to excellence and compassionate approach to patient care make him a valued addition to the orthopedic team at Bristol Hospital.
