Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Outreach Community Health Centers is proud to announce the appointment of Nicole Mubanga, MD, as Chief Medical Officer. A board-certified family physician with a comprehensive background in primary care, Dr. Mubanga oversees medical operations while continuing to enhance the health services provided to the Milwaukee community.

Outreach Community Health Centers has been a cornerstone of health care in Milwaukee for over 40 years, offering a wide range of outpatient services for families. With five locations throughout the city, the clinic provides essential services including adult chronic disease management, COVID-19 vaccinations, dental care, immunizations, prenatal care, child care coordination, on-site lab services, in-house pharmacy, OB/GYN, podiatry, telehealth, and well-child visits.

Dr. Mubanga brings an extensive academic and professional background to her new role. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology and Immunology before earning her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2013. She completed her residency through the Aurora Family Medicine Residency Program in 2016 and subsequently achieved board certification in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine.

In 2021, Dr. Mubanga completed a Community Health Center Executive Fellowship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, further solidifying her leadership capabilities within community health settings. Her diverse expertise encompasses family medicine, residency training, and executive leadership, positioning her well to lead Outreach Community Health Centers into the future.

In addition to her role at Outreach, Dr. Mubanga is an active member of the Cream City Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Prestige Wellness Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health and social conditions in underserved Zambian communities, demonstrating her commitment to global health equity.
