Working with the geriatric population in the greater Houston area, her speciality is in geriatric psychiatry (Alzheimer’s disease, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety, and personality disorders.) 

In regards to her educational background, Alyssa graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2013, and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2015. She then went on to perform her fellowship at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

An active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, she holds certifications in ACLS, CPR, and PALS through Texas Tech University.
