Get to know General Dentist Dr. Jonathan Runion, who serves patients in Gahanna, Ohio.

Dr. Runion is a general dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Runion Dental Group – Beecher Crossing in Gahanna, Ohio. “Our philosophy at Runion Dental Group is simple – to provide the best care possible for each and every one of our patients. Our experienced team of dentists and dental professionals are committed to providing patients with exceptional dental care. We expect our staff to provide the best dental experience possible regardless of the treatment received. We care for our patients as though they were part of our own family. Dr. Runion grew up in Findlay, Ohio and graduated from Findlay High School where he played soccer and hockey. He attended Francis Marion University and graduated in 2006 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University. After graduation, Dr. Runion completed a surgical dental implant internship under Dr. Rob and Dr. Duke Heller at the Midwest Implant Institute. He also completed an IV conscious sedation residency at Miami Valley Hospital. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. A general dentist, like Dr. Runion, is a primary care dental provider who diagnoses, treats, and manages patients’ overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education. Dr. Runion has extensive training in complex dental rehabilitation and esthetic dentistry. His focus is treating patients with missing teeth and giving them the ability to smile and function for a lifetime.

Dr. Runion loves to work out, play ice hockey and golf, as well as spend time with his family. He and his wife, Jessica, live in New Albany, Ohio with their three boys – Anderson, Oliver, and Julian.
