Dr. Heather Flood is an Integrative Primary Care Physician, acupuncturist, and Chinese herbalist. She believes in the body’s propensity toward health and strives to encourage and promote its innate healing capacity and quest for homeostasis through individualized medicine. She uses a holistic approach that encompasses the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of wellness allowing her to identify the root cause of illness and tailor treatments and interventions to best suit each individual’s needs. She firmly believes in educating and empowering patients to understand their bodies and participate in their wellness to maximize their healing potential and optimize their health. She has a unique skill set as a result of her training with both the conventional medical model as well as her naturopathic foundation. As a result, she is able to provide evidence based, informed decision making around which therapies are best suited for you based on your philosophy, desired outcome, and medical needs.
