Get to know Respiratory Therapist Amy Cherry Voliva, who serves the population of Washington, North Carolina.

Respiratory Care Practitioner, Amy Cherry Voliva holds over a decade of experience in her field, and currently practices with Apria Healthcare Group, Inc.

Apria is focused on providing top quality service to our patients. Their ongoing self-monitoring and evaluation process ensures continual improvement in the homecare experience. From order accuracy to helpful customer service, timely delivery, patient education, and equipment instruction — Apria is committed to serving with excellence.

Amy completed her associates degree from Pitt Community College. Furthering her education she graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Mount Olive. She holds certification in basic life support, and is a registered respiratory therapist.

To stay up to date in her field, Amy remains a professional member of the National Board for Respiratory Care and the American Association for Respiratory Care.

Amy remains a professional success to her personal drive to be a respiratory therapist. She was thinking of becoming a nurse and her grandfather became ill and needed care from an RRT. She wanted to learn more to be able to help him and others, so she changed from nursing to RRT and it has been a wonderful decision in her life.

When not working, she enjoys spending time at the beach.
