Dr. Rashidi is a colorectal surgeon serving Tacoma and the surrounding communities. She is associated with MultiCare Colon and Rectal Surgery. MultiCare is a hospital and clinic network offering comprehensive health serves including primary care, urgent care, and the largest multispecialty clinic in the Inland Northwest region.

Dr. Rashidi received her Medical Degree (MD) from the Ross University School of Medicine. She went on to complete a residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and a fellowship at Swedish Colon and Rectal Clinic. It was during this time she received extensive training in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic, laparoscopic and j-pouch surgery.

Dr. Rashidi maintains professional membership with the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Iranian American Medical Association, and American College of Surgeons. The Iranian American Medical Association is a non-profit, professional association dedicated to promoting education, health, communication and research in medical sciences.

Colorectal Surgery is a branch of surgery focusing on disorders of the rectum, anus, and colon. As a colorectal surgeon, Dr. Rashidi treats conditions like rectal cancer, colon cancer, hemorrhoids, anal fissures and diverticulitis. She works closely with a patient’s gastroenterologist to treat issues that require surgery.

During her time in the field, Dr. Rashidi has treated hundreds of patients and believes in a multi-disciplinary team approach, where patients and health care professionals work together to achieve the best outcomes.
