What are common side effects of Zoloft?
Hello, I’m sorry to hear that. Those could be side effects of the medication and shouldn’t be happening. It takes 1-2 weeks to see a slight improvement when starting antidepressants and 6-8 weeks for the medication to reach its full potential. I would definitely speak to your doctor about switching to a different SSRI or another class of antidepressants. Each patient has a different response to antidepressants and you just need to find the one that works for you. Keep in mind that when it comes to antidepressants, you need to be patient. Whenever you make a change or adjust the dosage, it takes your body at least 4-6 weeks to adjust and achieve the medication’s full potential. I hope I was able to help and answered your questions! Nexium and Zantac are different classes of medications used to treat heartburn. One isn’t necessarily better than the other.
