  • How does acupuncture relieve pain?

Hi, It's wonderful that you are going to see an acupuncturist or your neck pain! Acupuncture is wonderful for pain, and different techniques may be used to treat you. These include needles, cupping, electric stimulation, or a TDP lamp. They may needle your neck, your hands, your legs, or even your ears. The treatment varies from practitioner to practitioner, but know that they will work diligently to address your concerns to the best of their ability. Good luck, I hope you feel better soon! • Does acupuncture hurt the first time?

It's great that you are open to trying something new. The way acupuncture feels differs from patient to patient. Some of my patients giggle the whole way through and say that it tickles, others say it's a small pinch. When you go in for your session, let them know it's your first time and would like to go slow. Also, please make sure to avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to a session. I also wanted to let you know that acupuncture is fantastic for pain, and back pain especially so. Enjoy! READ MORE

  • Does acupuncture help knee pain?

Hi, Knee pain can be treated in so many different ways. Some practitioners will needle the knee that's painful. Others will treat the opposite knee instead. Some will needle your elbows or fingers. The choice of where to needle varies from practitioner to practitioner. Whatever way they choose to treat will also depend on how your body responds to the treatment and can be changed accordingly. As long as you go in with an open mind and follow the process (of repeat visits), you should feel less pain. READ MORE

Highly recommend especially for someone with very athletic careers! As a professional dancer I’m very particular with who treats my body and I trust Liran 100%. She is warm and inviting while getting the job done. She works with you to understand specifically where the issue is and goes directly to the source. The way Liran approaches healing is simple and straight forward and the results really speak for themselves!
