Does chiropractic treatment really work for kids?
In our office, we truly believe healthy kids become healthy adults. Children have all kinds of stressors on their spines, from a traumatic childbirth process to long periods of time using technology. If your son is experiencing pain in his neck, I would not ignore it. His neck pain is telling him there is a problem that needs to be further investigated. Chiropractic care is a safe and effective way to help identify your son's problem and fix the root cause. Chiropractic care has been effective in helping children grow in the proper alignment, so they don't have worse problems when they get older. I would recommend getting your son evaluated by a chiropractor that specializes in pediatric care. Thank you. READ MORE
Why do I feel lower back pain?
I get asked this question quite often in our office. Injury to the spine and joints aren't always obvious. They can be from big traumas like a car accident, slip and fall, or from small repetitive things we do on a day-to-day basis. If your spine is out of proper alignment, everyday actions like standing and sitting can cause stress on our spinal structures. That stress can later manifest as lower back pain or other symptoms. I would recommend getting checked out by your local chiropractor to see if anything underlying is contributing to your pain. Thank you. READ MORE
I have lower back stiffness. What could it be?
I get asked this question frequently. It comes down to structure influencing function. When you were exercising, you most likely put your spine and muscles in a compromising position. The root of your problem could be that your spinal alignment is unbalanced. Muscle relaxants will help part of your problem, but fixing the underlying structure imbalance could fix the problem completely and prevent it from happening again. I would recommend seeing your local chiropractor to have the alignment of your spine evaluated for any underlying imbalances. Thank you, Haley Plum READ MORE
