He has 37 years of experience in both cosmetic and functional oculofacial plastic surgery and is a world renowed surgeon, Academician and clinician.  His Medical School, Internship, Residency and Fellowship were all completed in New York City, where he trained at the New York University School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital, the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and the New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center with, among others, one of the fathers of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Byron Smith.  He had a private practice, with Academic and Clinical affiliations with the above hospitals, in New York's Park Avenue for 33 years.  He has trained students, Fellows and practicing Physicians and has lectured and been an invited surgeon nationally and internationally. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor and  Super Doctor throughout his career in NYC as well as being featured in Who's Who of Medicine and Healthcare, America's Top Ophthalmologists and has received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. He has recently been selected to appear in the 2019 Texas Super Doctors list, to be published in the December issue of Texas Monthly.
