    Generally, an all on four (or more) implant configuration refers to a prosthesis that is not removable by the patient, but is (with some work) removable by the doctor. They usually are not the permanent final product, but are meant to help you function and transition as you heal. Depending on the nature of the tooth removal surgery, while the soft tissue heals relatively quickly, the underlying bone does not reach a final healed state for about 4 to 6 months.
