What is a mini face lift?
Facelifts are always tailored to the individual. Some people qualify for a facelift, a mini facelift, a neck lift and lower facelift, etc. The mini facelift is not any one thing, but generally, it means that the raise is smaller, the dissection is smaller, the incisions can often be shorter, and the recovery faster. How is eyelid surgery done?
There are probably dozens of "eyelid surgeries" one can have, so it's very difficult to be specific. The most common one is an upper lid "tuck" or blepharoplasty. This is performed by using the fold of skin found in most eyelids as an entry point so there is no extra scar formed. READ MORE
How do they put cheek implants in?
Cheek implants usually are placed against your cheek bones to "vault" your cheeks up and provide more volume. This can typically be done from the back side of the eyelid so that there is no scar or incision in the skin. The implants are then secured in position and the back of the lid is closed without any the wiser! READ MORE
Can a plastic surgeon fix a facial scar?
This is something we do all the time. There are MANY ways to fix a scar and the methods depend on the qualities we are trying to augment. Color, depth, texture, and so on.
