  • What is a mini face lift?

Facelifts are always tailored to the individual. Some people qualify for a facelift, a mini facelift, a neck lift and lower facelift, etc. The mini facelift is not any one thing, but generally, it means that the raise is smaller, the dissection is smaller, the incisions can often be shorter, and the recovery faster. Typically, patients should proceed based on their GOALS. If your goal demands a specific surgery, that's what you should pursue. READ MORE

  • How is eyelid surgery done?

There are probably dozens of "eyelid surgeries" one can have, so it's very difficult to be specific. The most common one is an upper lid "tuck" or blepharoplasty. This is performed by using the fold of skin found in most eyelids as an entry point so there is no extra scar formed. READ MORE

  • How do they put cheek implants in?

Cheek implants usually are placed against your cheek bones to "vault" your cheeks up and provide more volume. This can typically be done from the back side of the eyelid so that there is no scar or incision in the skin. The implants are then secured in position and the back of the lid is closed without any the wiser! READ MORE

  • Can a plastic surgeon fix a facial scar?

This is something we do all the time. There are MANY ways to fix a scar and the methods depend on the qualities we are trying to augment. Color, depth, texture, and so on. Sometimes this requires skin care products or topical agents, sometimes injectables or laser, sometimes this may require local surgeries to excise or alter the scar. READ MORE

  • How long after lip fillers can you kiss?

Generally 48 hours later you can do anything. BUT you will still likely have some swelling in your lips, which can make them sore. READ MORE

  • How can I make my lips bigger with surgery?

This is something we often do with lip lifts. It pulls your lip out and projects it forward. The incision is hidden under your nose so no one can see it and its essentially permanent! READ MORE

  • Can lip fillers be dangerous?

When performed by a qualified professional lip fillers can be an easy beautiful way to get the lip contour and volume you want! Depending on YOUR lips you might be a candidate for a lip lift which could then save you from years of injections! READ MORE

  • Can under eye bags be removed?

It’s something our practice does all the time! Depending on the contour under the eyes, some people need the skin and muscle tightened and some, just fat- as always the individual’s circumstances dictate the best treatment. There is no need to look tired even when you’re not! READ MORE
