Dr. Vivek Mahendru practices Pain Medicine in Central TX. Pain medicine is concerned with the prevention of pain, and the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients experiencing pain. A 1989 graduate of Dayanand Medical College & Hospital in India, he completed multiple fellowships in pain therapy at Harvard Medical School and Texas Tech University. Before long, he became board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology.
