Dr. Adeepa Singh received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at JFK-Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine. She subsequently pursued subspecialty fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at Department of PM&R, Montefiore Health System. Dr. Singh is board certified in PM&R and Pain Medicine and is Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Director of Pain Management at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Singh provides inpatient consultations at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to remove barriers to recovery for patients suffering with chronic pain. She offers outpatient services for patients with painful neurological and musculoskeletal conditions using novel techniques (e.g. image guided interventions, spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion stimulation).
Her philosophy in caring for patients is that of personalized care with a multidisciplinary approach. Dr. Singh is an active member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and devoted to patient advocacy. She has initiated and directs monthly Complex Regional Pain Syndrome support group at Burke which already benefited many patients.
Dr. Singh is an excellent educator for the resident physicians and medical students in Pain Medicine and Physiatry. She is an active member of American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Academy of Pain Management, New York Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, North American Neuromodulation Society and Spine Intervention Society. Her work is published in peer reviewed journals, textbooks, and presented in regional and national meetings.
