Dr. Ebertz is an experienced dermatologist whose clinical interests include pediatric, general, and surgical dermatology with special interests in skin cancer surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, laser treatments, and cosmetic procedures, including BOTOX®, JUVEDERM®, JUVEDERM VOLUMA®, JUVEDERM VOLBELLA®XC, KYBELLA®, Sculptra®, and Radiesse®.
He is the Founding Partner of Skin Care Doctors, P.A., which he began in 1998. He sees patients at the practice’s four locations throughout the state of Minnesota, including Edina, Burnsville, Orono, and St. Cloud.
Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Ebertz attended the University of North Dakota and graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry, Summa Cum Laude. He then enrolled at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha with his medical degree in 1992. He completed his internship at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1992, and successfully completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Minnesota in 1996.
With advanced training in cosmetic and laser surgery, the doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

Born and raised in Jamestown, North Dakota, he is the youngest of seven children. Dr. Ebertz resides in Orono with his wife and daughters and is an active member of the Church of St. George. His hobbies include playing golf, traveling, participating in sports, listening to music, going to the theater, enjoying the arts, and above all, spending time with his family.
