Raised in Oxnard, California, Dr. Tran-Nguyen attended Santa Clara High School. After graduating with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine – Boston University in 1989, she graduated from UCSF Post-Graduate Training Program (AEGD) in 1992. She furthered her career with continuing education programs in occlusion, implants, endodontics, and aesthetic dentistry. After owning a practice in El Cerrito, California for 8 years, she returned to Ventura County to practice and raise her family.
In order to stay up to date in her field, she remains a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Society.
