Helping patients smile with confidence, Dr. Tran-Nguyen is the owner & operator of Lotus Dental Practice in Ventura, California. She is the type of person who is devoted to providing the artistry and excellence of personalized services along with the compassion and care in every appointment experience with her patients.

Raised in Oxnard, California, Dr. Tran-Nguyen attended Santa Clara High School. After graduating with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine – Boston University in 1989, she graduated from UCSF Post-Graduate Training Program (AEGD) in 1992. She furthered her career with continuing education programs in occlusion, implants, endodontics, and aesthetic dentistry. After owning a practice in El Cerrito, California for 8 years, she returned to Ventura County to practice and raise her family. 

In order to stay up to date in her field, she remains a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Society.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Tran-Nguyen enjoys traveling, writing, and swimming.
