Hi there, that’s a great question. Taking alprazolam continuously for 2 months does require tapering. At a total of 0.5mg daily, however, your taper will be quite quick. For the first week, take 1 tablet in the morning and half a tablet at night. Week 2, take 1/2 tab in the morning and 1/2 tab at night. Week 3, take 1/2 tab in the morning and 0 tab at night.
