Dr. Vu is a licensed, board-certified acupuncturist practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at his private practice Lotus Acupuncture Clinic in Harvey, Louisiana. He has a deep passion for TCM-holistic health and oriental medicine, and has treated thousands of people with pain, acute and chronic illness, and a host of other ailments and diseases.
Stimulating the body’s various systems, it is profoundly rewarding for Dr. Vu to be able to restore the body back to health and back to balance by helping it to heal itself. He specializes in auricular acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, herbology, meridian acupressure and tui na massage, cupping, five element acupuncture, balance method acupuncture, the four needle technique, Tai chi, and more. His goal is to improve health and well-being naturally, safely, and effectively and to give his patients a better quality of life.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Vu attended TCM University for Healing Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine in Vietnam, graduating in 1998. Upon graduation, he opened and operated a clinic, practicing various modalities within TCM and herbal apothecary, where he prescribed and dispensed oriental medicine.
Wanting to further his education, he attended South Baylo University in Anaheim, California, earning his Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) degree. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree. Along the way, Dr. Vu also earned his Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MSAOM) and was awarded for Excellence in Clinical Internship.
Licensed to practice acupuncture by the states of Louisiana and California, he earned his certification and completed Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture program for various pain, neurological disorders, stroke, spinal cord injuries, as well as emergency, internal, and psychiatric disorders and special senses. He also attained Diplomate status with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Attributing his success to hard work and a dedication to servicing patients, Dr. Vu has been awarded the Top-Rated Acupuncturist in Louisiana for 2019. To this day, he maintains a 5-star rating on Google, providing the best care in a positive, professional, and friendly environment.
