How can I prepare for Mohs surgery?
The best way to prepare is to be calm and know what to expect. Typically, depending on the site and complexity, you may be in the office up to 4 hours. The most uncomfortable part of the procedure is the local anesthesia via injection. Following the surgery, you will need to keep the area dry for 1-2 days and limit activity for 5-7 days if the area requires sutures. It’s a good idea to have some bandages and a topical antibiotic ointment to change the bandage. READ MORE
