Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Louis M. Iorio, MD, who serves patients in New Jersey. 

Dr. Iorio is a highly respected, double board-certified plastic surgeon known for producing natural-looking results, as well as for being an approachable, empathetic physician—both before and after his procedures. He is the Medical Director of Iorio Plastic Surgery & Medspa with offices in Colts Neck and Brick, New Jersey. He will soon be opening a third location in Holmdel, New Jersey, in the highly sought out location in Bell Works.

Since 1999, he and his professional team have been performing a wide variety of cosmetic surgery procedures and rejuvenation treatments using only safe, advanced, and proven techniques and products. “When I made the decision to specialize in cosmetic medicine, I made the commitment to research the newest, most effective techniques and learn from respected leaders in each field the world over. And I continue to assess relevant innovations in technology and procedures, because nothing less than the best will do for my patients” expressed Dr. Iorio. 

With education placing him among the best that the field of plastic surgery offers, he earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Ohio. He completed his residency in general surgery at State University of New York at Buffalo, where he was honored to serve as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in plastic surgery at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.

The doctor’s involvement with various professional organizations highlights his commitment to providing the best plastic and cosmetic treatments to his patients. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons (Fellow – FACS), the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of New Jersey, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons. In addition, he is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center, Jersey Shore Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, and Surgical Institute.

Ensuring superior care with outstanding results, Dr. Iorio is board-certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) as well as the American Board of Surgery (ABS).  The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
