Dr. Erez Dayan is a plastic & reconstructive surgeon as well as Medical director of Avance Plastic Surgery Institute. The meaning of the French word Avance is 'to move forward' or 'to advance'. Dr. Dayan completed his plastic & reconstructive surgery traiing at the world-renowned Harvard Plastic Surgery program, consistently ranked as the #1 medical center in the country by U.S. News & World Report. Through his training, Dr. Dayan gained extensvie experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He has worked closely with the leading experts in breast reconstruction, complex microvascular reconstruction, face transplantation, and aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Dayan is one of only a few surgeons in the country to have additional fellowship training in advanced aesthetic techniques and minimally invasive technology. After his training at Harvard, Dr. Dayan was chosen to train at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, widely regarded as the top aesthetic surgery fellowship internationally.
Dr. Dayan has lectured and published on plastic surgery topics on over 150 occasions nationally and internationally. He has been invited as faculty to operate and teach at prestigious international meetings in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and South America. He is also the lead author of five books on specialized plastic surgery topics. Most recently, Dr. Dayan co-authored the seminal textbook Emerging Technologies in Facial Aesthetics and Body Contouring. He also co-authored The Atlas of Facial Implants as well as Facial Danger Zones: Staying Safe with Surgery, Fillers, and Noninvasive Devices.
Dr. Dayan's contributions to plastic & reconstructive surgery have been recognized by numerous prestigous awards, including the Harvard Plastic Surgery Academic Achievement Award, the Robert Goldwyn/Harvard Medical School Grant, World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery Achievement Award, and the Aesthetic Surgery Education & Research Foundation Grant. Dr. Dayan has also been sought after as a key opinion leader and investigator for a number of industry sponsored grants including Allergan, MTF Biologics, InMode, and Galderma.

A 2010 graduate of the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, Dr. Dayan performed his residency in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York in 2015. Three years later, in 2018, he completed his plastic & reconstructive surgery training at the world-renowned Harvard Plastic Surgery program, consistently ranked as the #1 medical center in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
After his training at Harvard, he was chosen to train at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, widely regarded as the top aesthetic surgery fellowship internationally. He worked closely with the leading experts in breast reconstruction, complex microvascular reconstruction, face transplantation, and aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body.
As a result, he gained extensive experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. Dr. Dayan is one of only a few surgeons in the country to have additional fellowship training in advanced aesthetic techniques and minimally invasive technology.
