Graduating summa cum laude from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Dr. Shah went on to earn her medical degree from Drexel College of Medicine. She completed an internship under the Department of Medicine at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Her residency was at Emory University’s Department of Dermatology in Atlanta, Georgia, where she then served as dermatology chief resident.

A member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, she is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). The ABD is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

Recognized with a 2021 New Jersey Top Doctor Award, this honor showcases Dr. Shah’s expertise and high level of dermatology care provided to patients using advanced treatments and techniques. She has also won several other distinctions, including the Annual Award for Excellence in Dermatology.
