She then went on to perform her residency in pediatrics at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan in 2004, and her fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2007.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), Dr. Bolarum is board-certified in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). Neonatology is a subspecialty of pediatrics that consists of the medical care of newborn infants, especially the ill or premature newborn.
