A Honduran native, Dr. Valladares moved to the United States for college in 2007 to commence her journey in becoming a physician. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She then attended LSUHSC- Shreveport where she received her medical degree.
After medical school, she was awarded an opportunity to learn from the best. At her top pick was the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s teaching hospital in Mobile, where she completed her training in obstetrics and gynecology. Her deep appreciation for the south, combined with a desire to practice in a culturally diverse area, led her to Houston.
