He then went on to perform his internship at St. Michael’s Medical Center in 1984, and his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987.

A member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the doctor is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The mission of the ABPMR is to serve the public by improving the quality of patient care in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
