Dr. Monfared completed her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, Irvine, and pursued a medical field by graduating from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. She then went on to perform her internship and residency in pediatrics at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science.
After completing medical school and residency, she practiced taking care of children of all ages in primary care, hospital, and pediatric urgent care settings.
