Dr. Fan is a certified and licensed acupuncturist who has over 30 years of experience practicing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is very interested in and enjoys working with challenging cases at his private practice, Richmond Acupuncture Care, located in Richmond, Virginia.
A member of the Chinese American Medical Society and the American Society of Acupuncturists, Dr. Fan has strong faith and confidence in his knowledge and experience. He believes that acupuncture can be a helpful, natural alternative or complement to one’s health care regimen. Over the years, he has helped many patients achieve their health goals.
A fourth generation Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, he graduated from Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University in 1980 with his Master of Acupuncture degree. Embarking on his professional career, he worked in famous hospitals throughout South China for over fifteen years. In 1995, he relocated to the United States, where he taught and worked at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine for a period of four years.
With strong medical genes, Dr. Fan attributes his success to his hard work and dedication, his genuine concern for his patients, as well as his ability to provide excellent service.
