Get to know Allergist and Immunologist Dr. Dara I. Cohn, who serves patients in Mt. Laurel and Haddonfield, New Jersey & Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Cohn is a highly trained allergist and immunologist with a particular interest in food allergy, eczema, contact dermatitis, hives, allergic and non-allergic disorders of the nose, and asthma. In practice with Allergy & Asthma Care, she sees pediatric and adult patients at the offices in Mt. Laurel and Haddonfield, New Jersey & Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The practice of Allergy & Asthma Care specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma and related pulmonary diseases, hay fever, sinus disease, headaches, food allergies, drug reactions, latex allergy, hives, stinging insect sensitivity, and immunologic disorders. To effectively manage the complex needs of patients with allergies and asthma, the providers work in partnership with family physicians, internists, and pediatricians. They practice out of 4 convenient locations in South Jersey and 3 locations in Pennsylvania, providing each patient with individualized care with an emphasis on improving quality of life.

A native of the Philadelphia area, Dr. Cohn attended Washington University in St. Louis where she received her undergraduate degree. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed her residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, followed by her fellowship in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology at Rush University Medical Center.

Committed to her specialty, the doctor is board-certified through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, which establishes qualifications and examines physicians to become recognized specialists in allergy and immunology. It is a conjoint board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics.

Furthermore, she is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Named a Top Doc for Kids by SJ Magazine in 2020, Dr. Cohn is an active member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
