Dr. Zerba chose family medicine as she hopes to build personal connections with entire families, as well as the larger community of Glenwood Springs. Her experience as a ski instructor for disabled skiers heightened her interest in pursuing her DO (Doctor of Osteopathy). She enjoys treating the whole person—body, mind and spirit. This unique care approach also includes complementary therapies like Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT), dry needling and cupping. “I like to foster open communication,” she explains about her doctor-patient relationships. “It’s about presenting multiple treatment options and letting patients make informed decisions about their own health.”
