“For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep desire to help the helpless. Growing up in a small town filled with one addiction after the other and seeing families torn apart by the endless supply of pain pills that keep flooding our streets, the meth that destroys them from the inside out, and all other drugs that goes into the bodies of our loved ones has led me to start a company designed to not only help the addicts who have lost all control but also for the families, friends, and communities that suffer right along beside them” expressed Jennifer.
Having been in the alternative healthcare field since 2008, Jennifer started her career in massage therapy specializing in neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, Swedish massage, and hydrotherapy.
She started her Chinese medical training in 2010 in Sarasota, Florida at East West College of Natural Medicine where she received training in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. During her studies, she traveled to Hangzhou, China to complete the advanced studies program at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University.
Hoping to bring new (and ancient) treatments and alternatives to the people in her life who need it the most, Jennifer has spent years practicing what she has learned so far about treating addicts and their families. She has done extensive research on many types of treatments that have been tested and proven over and over again across many different healthcare fields of practice.
Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a technique in which thin needles are inserted into the body and in some cases, electro-stimulation is applied to gently stimulate particular regions of the body. Acupuncture is also used to maintain general health and well-being. Acupuncturists treat a variety of physical and psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, pain, digestive disorders, and infertility.
