  • Drug Interactions?

There are no major interactions. The combination can cause increased drowsiness, dizziness and difficulty concentrating. I would let your prescriber know that it is not working. READ MORE

  • Medicine Clashing?

It should be fine to take Melatonin with Focalin and Intuniv. I double checked and there are no interactions in the literature. READ MORE

  • Progestin affect amitriptyline?

I found one study that said plasma concentrations of Amitriptyline decreased after taking a combination contraceptive pill, Progestin only pill or combined contraceptive vaginal ring. However, most literature states there is no interaction between the two. 10mg of Amitriptyline is a really small dose. I would speak with my physician about increasing the dose to see if that would help. You could also switch to a medication like Propranolol for migraine prevention. Speak to your dr. about which option might be best for you. READ MORE

  • Is it safe to drink alcohol after being off of painkillers for a week?

It depends on the opioid, but Hydrocodone and Oxycodone stay in the system for about 4 days after the last dose. A week should be long enough to safely consume alcohol. READ MORE

  • Mirtazipine and ativan?

Yes, you can take Mirtazipine and Ativan together. Mirtazipine is an antidepressant and Ativan is an antianxiolytic. READ MORE

  • Pregabalin?

Even though Pregabalin is used off label for anxiety, anxiety is a possible side effect. I would contact your Dr and let them know that this is occurring. They will probably change the medication. READ MORE

  • Antibiotics, it says take 1 four times a day?

Yes. Just take them as close to every 6 hrs as you can. It doesn’t have to be exact. READ MORE

  • Ibuprofen 800 mg concern?

Taking Ibuprofen with food is to help prevent stomach upset and reduce acid in the stomach. If you eat the chocolate and no stomach upset occurs, then it should be enough. However, if you eat the chocolate and stomach upset occurs, then you need to try to eat a little more. You can also drink a glass of milk, which should help. Eat the chocolate before you take the Ibuprofen. READ MORE

  • Pravastatin side effects?

Is it just itchy or is there a rash also? If there is a rash, stop taking and call your Dr. If just itching, I would continue it, but call your Dr and let them know. If you have any muscle weakness stop taking it and call your Dr. READ MORE

  • Grapefruit and sertraline?

Grapefruit juice can increase the serum concentration of Sertraline. Since you haven’t started it yet, it will be fine. Usually the increase in concentrations only occurs with regular and large volumes of grapefruit juice consumed. READ MORE

  • Wellbutrin reset tolerance?

You don't want to abruptly stop your Wellbutrin, if you are stopping it you need to slowly wean off of it and then stay off of it for at least 4 weeks. However, you are not on the maximum dose and could ask your Doctor to increase it to 450mg daily to see if that helps you. 4 months is not very long to have been on the medication and see no effect due to tolerance, so I think a dose increase is probably the best thing to try here. READ MORE

  • Excedrin with Depakote?

The Aspirin in Excedrin can increase the serum levels of Depakote. If he is just taking the Excedrin occasionally, it should be fine. If he is taking it on a regular basis he should have regular Depakote blood levels drawn to make sure no toxicity occurs. He should be able to take Tylenol with no interaction. READ MORE

  • Is it okay to take Ibuprofen/Tylenol while using neomycin and polymyxin b sulfates and hydrocortisone otic solution?

Taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen will help with the pain and inflammation. You could also use a warm compress on your ear which sometimes helps with the pain also. Mastoiditis is rare and usually occurs when an ear infection has gone untreated. Redness behind the ear, swelling behind the ear, headache and hearing loss are all symptoms of Mastoiditis. Make sure and stay hydrated also. READ MORE

  • Drug interaction?

Yes, it is safe to take Acetaminophen with Metoprolol. READ MORE
