How long does nose plastic surgery last?
It should last forever, good or bad. There may be some changes down the road if the cartilages warps, or as scar tissue remodels. There are some subtle changes with gravity and aging, but not as obvious as in, for example, the breast. So, this is why it is important to see a board certified plastic surgeon. If you have an issue that needs correcting, hopefully you just need it done once. READ MORE
How painful is a breast lift?
If done well and carefully planned to minimize bruising, a lift or mastopexy does not need to be extremely painful. No muscle is cut so that helps a lot. Compared to a tummy tuck or liposuction, most would say it is much less painful. Of course, pain is extremely subjective and varied between people, so take that with a grain of salt. READ MORE
Can neck skin be tightened without surgery?
It really depends how much laxity you have. There are a lot of noninvasive methods out now that give some nice results for mild to moderate laxity. Best thing is to book an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for a complete assessment and discussion of all of the options available to you. READ MORE
Why does my nose still look bigger after rhinoplasty?
The nose has a thicker skin in many people, and has great vascularity and blood supply. That also means that the swelling can take much longer to go completely down. It can take several months in some patients. 4 weeks is too early to expect to see final results. Aim more for 5-6 months. Hope that is helpful. Hang in there! READ MORE
How long does pain last after breast augmentation?
A submuscular approach can take longer, sometimes a few weeks to feel more normal. If you have bruising that hurts more too. It is always good to check in with your plastic surgeon and make sure everything is healing normally. READ MORE

Is it normal to have uneven breasts after augmentation?
Many women have asymmetric breasts. Sometimes it is not apparent, but becomes somewhat more noticeable after surgery. Have a good conversation with your plastic surgeon. READ MORE
Will rhinoplasty make my nose smaller?
That really depends. Rhinoplasty can make your nose narrower, or make the tip area smaller or more refined, or sometimes it can just make it straighter without making it smaller. It is different for each patient. Best to see a board certified plastic surgeon in consultation so that you can determine what is possible for you individually. READ MORE
What holds breast implants in place?
Essentially, the skin and soft tissue of the breast holds everything in place. This is why it is important to consider size carefully. Gravity will pull the breasts down much sooner with larger implants. READ MORE
