Dr. Zaman, a trusted pediatrician, has been practicing pediatric and adolescent medicine since October of 1984. She is the Founder of Zaman Pediatric Center in Snellville, Georgia.

Serving the ages birth through adolescence, Zaman Pediatrics believes in a team approach to each child’s health and well-being, so all of the doctors collaborate with parents to provide the highest level of care. They appreciate the opportunity to care for children and pride themselves on making pediatric care a pleasant experience for all of their patients.

Educated in Pakistan, Dr. Zaman graduated with her medical degree from Nishtar Medical University. She then relocated to the United States, completing her internship at the Medical College of Georgia and finishing her residency in pediatrics at Emory University in 1984.

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults.
