  • Should I go to the ER?

Yes, you absolutely should go to the ER. The symptoms you are describing could be life-threatening. • Nose infection?

Great job staying sober for the past 5 days. There are lots of resources out there to help. https://www.google.com/search?q=addiction+hotline&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari# You really do need to talk with your doctor about the infection. You shouldn’t be scared to tell her what’s actually going on. It’s your doctors role to treat you and to be caring and accepting. Most importantly an infection in your nose can become very serious and deadly because it can rapidly spread to other parts of head. This is especially risky because you damaged your mucous membranes by using the cocaine. If your primary care can see you same day start with that, otherwise go to the emergency room bc this can rapidly become serious and it’s not worth the risk. Your records are private and no one needs to know what happened unless you want them too so don’t let fear get in the way of you seeking care and be honest with the doctor about what happened so they know what to do to help. This is a very generic statement. The vast majority of prescription meds don’t have any risk for addiction. Some meds like opioids and benzodiazepines can lead to addiction. • What happens after you stop antidepressants?

That depends on the reason for taking an antidepressant. If it’s for depression and you have only had 1 episode of depression before and have been doing well for 6 months-1yr then chances are good you will continue to feel well. It’s always best to decrease the medication before stopping it to make sure you feel good and to prevent any possible withdrawal before stopping completely. Therapy is always important as part of treatment and should help with working through some of the factors that may have contributed to the depression. Always consult with your doctor before stopping any medication. READ MORE
