He graduated from Rice University with a degree in biochemistry and cell biology, in only two-and-a-half years, and graduating magna cum laude (top 15% of the graduating class).   Before attending medical school, Dr. Rizk spent a year-and-a-half traveling the world with his friends, spending months in South America and Africa and attending the soccer World Cup. As a medical student at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, Dr. Rizk graduated in the top 10% of his medical school class and was elected to both the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (a society for the top medical students in the country) and the Gold Humanism Honor Society (a society recognizing excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service).   After medical school, Dr. Rizk completed his dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine where he continued to excel, publishing over 50 papers in medical journals and scoring in the top 10% percent in the country on his dermatology in-training exam. Dr. Rizk is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also an active member of the Texas Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, the Houston Dermatologic Society, and the Texas Dermatologic Society.  Dr. Rizk is charismatic and high energy. He has extensive dermatological training and a natural ability to relate to his patients. Dr. Rizk regularly attends conferences, meetings, and workshops to stay updated on new and emerging technology so that he can offer the most effective and most advanced services to his patients. He can provide exceptional care across medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.  When he's not working, Dr. Rizk spends his time skiing and going to the gym. He loves traveling with his friends and family, listening to Tom Petty, watching "The Office" re-runs, and watching Alabama football (he is still willing to provide care to Clemson fans).
