A certified physician assistant, Nicole works within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center – Wakefield Campus.

Montefiore Medical Center is a premier academic medical center and the primary teaching hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York City, New York. Its main campus, the Henry and Lucy Moses Division, is located in the Norwood section of the northern Bronx.

Graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at St. John’s University in 2019, Nicole is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

A Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) is a health care practitioner who practices medicine in collaboration with physicians. They examine patients, prescribe medicine, and order diagnostic tests. In most cases, they work under the supervision of physicians or surgeons, but they can work more independently in some states, rural areas, and inner-city areas, consulting with physicians only when they need help with cases.
