Before embarking on his professional journey, he graduated with his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 2009, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2012. He then went on to complete two consecutive fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the same educational venue in 2015 and 2018, respectively.
