Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Evan Adler, who serves patients in Oakhurst, New Jersey.

Well-respected among his colleagues and patients, Dr. Adler is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon in practice with Bear Foot and Ankle. 

His specialties include foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma care, wound healing, sports medicine, and diabetic limb salvage. He has developed a reputation for his meticulous and thorough medical care which is enriched by his experience and compassion.

In Monmouth County, Bear Foot and Ankle is a private practice in Oakhurst, New Jersey. Its goal is to provide the highest quality medical care to meet the individual needs of each patient. The providers aim to restore their patients’ health and support their continued well-being by providing personalized and detailed treatment.

Academically, Dr. Adler earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and served as the student body president of the New York School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 3-year podiatric surgical residency at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, a top-ranked level 1 trauma center in Falls Church, VA and performed clinical studies at the prestigious Limb Salvage Center at Georgetown University Hospital.

Following his training, he attained board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, which strives to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery.

Committed to education, Dr. Adler is extensively involved in the training of the podiatric residents at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He has extensive research and work experience in the medical field spanning over 15 years, including tumor immunology research at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and autoimmune disease research during his doctoral work at NYU Medical Center. In addition, he can be found on staff at Monmouth Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center.

A podiatrist, also known as a podiatric physician or a foot and ankle surgeon, is a medical professional devoted to the treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. In his spare time, Dr. Adler enjoys soccer, baseball, golf, tennis, and travel. His experience playing Division 1 soccer at Lafayette College aids in his understanding of prevention and management of lower extremity sports and fitness injuries.
