Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Kayleigh Fischer, who serves patients in Saint Louis, Missouri.

A dedicated pediatrician, Dr. Fischer can be found on staff at St. Louis Children’s Hospital,  one of the best children’s hospitals in the country and Missouri’s #1 children’s hospital.

Alongside her clinical role, she has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics within the Division of Emergency Medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis since 2019. She is also a Researcher in Emergency Medicine at the said establishment.

A 2013 graduate of Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University, Dr. Fischer went on to perform her residency in pediatrics at Golisano Children’s Hospital in 2016. She followed this up with a fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in 2019.

Attributing her success to the excellent mentorship she had throughout her training, she is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Since 2017, Dr. Fischer has been holding certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Instructor), Safe Care, Basic Life Support. She also holds a certificate through the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs in Missouri and a DEA license.

Her areas of research include adolescent reproductive health care, hormonal contraception, and parental decision-making in research.
